Who is responsible
This website belongs to Gigitats, the tattoo practice of Giovanna Giselle. I currently tattoo at West Loop Tattoo Collective in Chicago, Illinois. You can reach me at giovannagiselle@inkfire.mx, and that is also the address to use for anything in this notice.
What this site collects
If you fill in the booking form, I receive your name, e-mail address, the placement you are considering, the style you picked and whatever you write in the message. That goes straight to my e-mail inbox. The site keeps no database and no account.
The chat assistant works the same way: your answers travel with you to WhatsApp, and if you add reference photos they are stored on this site for 90 days so the link in your message keeps working — after that they are deleted automatically.
The reference photos you attach are stored on this website's server, in a folder with a long random name that nobody can guess or browse, and the e-mail I receive links to them. They delete themselves after 90 days. If you want yours removed sooner, just ask.
The site also stores one small item in your own browser: whether you accepted or refused cookies, and your language choice. Those never leave your device.
Health information
Before any session you sign an informed consent form at the studio, which asks about allergies, medication, skin conditions and similar. That is on paper or in person — this website never collects health information, and you should not put it in the booking form. I keep those forms for safety and to comply with Illinois health regulations, and I do not share them with anyone except where the law requires it.
Photographs of your tattoo
I photograph finished work for my portfolio and social media. If you would rather your tattoo not be published, tell me — before or after the session — and I will not post it, or I will take it down. You do not need to give a reason.
Cookies and advertising
I run ads on Google. When you accept the cookie notice, Google sets cookies that let me see which ads bring people to the studio. If you refuse, or ignore the notice, no advertising cookie is set and the site works exactly the same. You can change your mind any time at this link.
Two other things load from outside servers when you open the site, which means those companies see your IP address: the typeface comes from Google Fonts, and the links at the bottom point to Instagram and TikTok (those only see you if you click).
Who else sees your data
My website is hosted by HostGator, and the booking form arrives through their mail service. Google receives advertising data only if you accepted cookies. Nobody else. I do not sell your information, and I never will.
How long I keep it
Booking e-mails stay in my inbox while we are talking and for a reasonable time afterwards, in case you come back. Consent forms are kept as long as health regulations require. If you want your request deleted sooner, ask me and I will do it.
Your choices
Write to me at giovannagiselle@inkfire.mx and you can ask me to show you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also ask me to stop e-mailing you, or to remove a photo. I will answer personally.
Children
I do not tattoo minors and this site is not directed at them.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.

Qué recoge este sitio
Si llenas el formulario de citas, recibo tu nombre, correo, la zona del cuerpo que estás considerando, el estilo que elegiste y lo que escribas en el mensaje. Eso llega directo a mi correo. El sitio no tiene base de datos ni cuentas de usuario.
El asistente del chat funciona igual: tus respuestas viajan contigo a WhatsApp, y si añades fotos de referencia se guardan en este sitio durante 90 días para que el enlace de tu mensaje siga funcionando — después se borran solas.
Las fotos de referencia que adjuntas se guardan en el servidor de este sitio, en una carpeta con un nombre largo y aleatorio que nadie puede adivinar ni listar, y el correo que recibo enlaza a ellas. Se borran solas a los 90 días. Si quieres que las quite antes, pídemelo.
También se guarda una cosa pequeña en tu propio navegador: si aceptaste o rechazaste las cookies, y el idioma que elegiste. Eso nunca sale de tu dispositivo.
Información de salud
Antes de cada sesión firmas un consentimiento informado en el estudio, donde se pregunta por alergias, medicamentos, condiciones de la piel y demás. Eso es en papel o en persona: este sitio web nunca recoge información de salud, y no deberías escribirla en el formulario. Guardo esos consentimientos por seguridad y para cumplir con la normativa sanitaria de Illinois, y no los comparto con nadie salvo que la ley lo exija.
Fotografías de tu tatuaje
Fotografío el trabajo terminado para mi portafolio y mis redes. Si prefieres que tu tatuaje no se publique, dímelo —antes o después de la sesión— y no lo subo, o lo quito. No hace falta que expliques por qué.
Cookies y publicidad
Hago publicidad en Google. Cuando aceptas el aviso de cookies, Google instala cookies que me permiten ver qué anuncios traen gente al estudio. Si rechazas, o ignoras el aviso, no se instala ninguna cookie publicitaria y el sitio funciona exactamente igual. Puedes cambiar de opinión cuando quieras en este enlace.
Hay otras dos cosas que se cargan desde servidores externos al abrir el sitio, lo que significa que esas empresas ven tu dirección IP: la tipografía viene de Google Fonts, y los enlaces de abajo llevan a Instagram y TikTok (esos solo te ven si haces clic).
Quién más ve tus datos
Mi sitio está alojado en HostGator, y el formulario llega por su servicio de correo. Google recibe datos publicitarios solo si aceptaste las cookies. Nadie más. No vendo tu información, ni lo haré.
Cuánto tiempo los conservo
Los correos de solicitud se quedan en mi bandeja mientras hablamos y un tiempo razonable después, por si vuelves. Los consentimientos se conservan lo que exija la normativa sanitaria. Si quieres que borre tu solicitud antes, pídemelo y lo hago.
Tus opciones
Escríbeme a giovannagiselle@inkfire.mx y puedes pedirme que te muestre qué tengo sobre ti, que lo corrija o que lo borre. También puedes pedirme que deje de escribirte, o que quite una foto. Te contesto yo personalmente.
Menores
No tatúo a menores de edad y este sitio no está dirigido a ellos.
Cambios
Si este aviso cambia, cambia también la fecha de arriba.
